Dear Miles City School District community, Last night, our district and numerous schools across Montana received an emailed bomb threat stating that bombs had been placed in schools. We believe at least 75 school districts were affected. We consulted law enforcement, and Miles City Police Department searched all six campuses, finding nothing. Unless we hear otherwise from law enforcement, we are planning to hold school as usual today. We recognize that violent threats of this nature can cause serious anxiety and concern for our students and families, and want you to know that we take all threats seriously. At times like these, we are incredibly appreciative of our School Resource Officer Program as well as our partnership with the Miles City Police Department and the Sheriff's Office. You may notice an increased law enforcement presence at the schools today as we continue to work and monitor the situation. Comments are closed.
